Allophone is AGP's first true studio effort. A collaboration with Craig Welsch
(aka Dub Fader), who's long list of past projects include John Brown Body's amazing album
"Among Them," the album was recorded over a few weeks at Boston's legendary Fort Apache studios
not long before it closed its doors. Fort Apache's client list ranges from Boston seminal artists like
The Mighty Mighty Bosstones and Buffalo Tom to international stars such as David Bowie and
Radiohead. The album intertwines socio-political musings, themes of love not meant to be, and
conversations with one's own inner monologue and mixes it all with instumental funk and psychedelia.
The album ends appropriately with two songs about the band's hometown of Boston, MA.
